Last week, as part of its 25 Year celebrations, Chemical Solutions Ltd hosted a bowls tournament at the local Mangere Bridge Bowls Club. Much to everyone’s relief, it was a beautiful sunny Wednesday afternoon on the green, to bowl for experts and beginners alike – contrasting with the terrible showers and flooding over the previous week!
The event kicked off with staff (old and new), and special guests, catching up over drinks and nibbles in the club room before MD Terry Morris gave an inspiring speech – retelling the story of the business’s humble beginnings, to where things are today, and finishing with thanking everyone for their hard work, service and support.
The first round of the tournament kicked off with a gentle start as newbies eased their way into the first plays of the game and veterans sharpened up their skills.
However, as the second round arrived, the competition began to heat up as the semi-finalists played fiercely to win their spot in the final.
As the night fell the finalists fought for the championship title, each bringing their best game to end the battle – with the final champions winning a tasty hamper of goodies! The night was blended with a beautiful roast dinner, courtesy of the original Spit Roast catering company.
Chemical Solutions is proud to have been in business in New Zealand these past 25 years, serving the chemical manufacturing industry with quality product and service, and they can’t wait to see the next 25 years!
