What do you do at Chemical Solutions?
I oversee the bank reconciliations, manage accounts payable and receivables, and ensure the timely processing of weekly wage payments for our warehouse staff.
What led you to this career step?
After relocating from the UAE, Chemical Solutions was the first company I interviewed with. I was immediately impressed by the role and the welcoming atmosphere, which made it an easy decision to join the team.
What is a typical day like?
My typical day begins with daily reconciliations, followed by managing the accounts email inbox and concluding with the execution of vendor payments if any. Each day brings a learning opportunity, which I enjoy.
What’s one thing that surprised you about working at Chemical Solutions?
The welcoming environment and the mutual trust and friendship among colleagues have been truly surprising. The regular team activities, such as our monthly lunches and games, have made the workplace even more enjoyable.
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
Outside of work, I am passionate about traveling and exploring new places. When at home, I spend time with my kids and also dedicate time to share trading, particularly swing trading, which I have been practicing since my days in India.
Do you have a hidden talent?
As for a hidden talent, it remains undiscovered – but I am always on the lookout to find it!
