It’s looking like Aucklanders will be free to travel around New Zealand this summer. Are you prepared with the best knowledge and housekeeping chemicals to keep your guests safe?
Holiday goers will need places to stay. You need to keep your spaces super clean between stays to lower the chance visitors leave any traces of bacteria or viruses behind.
Here are some best housekeeping practises for maintaining a clean accommodation:
- Clean hands are the basis for personal hygiene. We know how important it is for both visitors and cleaners to keep their hands clean to stay safe. Washing hands with soap and water is best but an alcohol-based hand sanitiser can also serve well. Kemsol’s Velvet Touch, or Kemsol Green’s Vibe are excellent hand soap options that additionally keep hands moisturised. Kemsol Microban is the hand sanitiser we recommend – it contains over 60% alcohol content as well as natural moisturisers.
- On the subject of keeping hands clean, we recommend using dispensers to apply soap and sanitiser to your hands. Using dispensers limits your contact with surfaces touched by dirty hands. Ask us if you’re interested in trying out dispenser systems for your space.
- Keep the space ventilated during cleaning. This helps to blow away any airborne microbes and chemical vapors that linger in the air.
- Sanitise hard surfaces, especially those that people touch a lot. We recommend Viruclear as it’s been specifically developed to reduce coronaviruses’ ability to infect. You can use it on all types of hard surfaces. It’s also available as a concentrate, providing great value for money.
