Congratulations to Jason, our Operations Manager for completing the recent 200 km charity cycle – Ride To Conquer Cancer. Jason did an amazing job in raising $6195 for this worthy cause, the 33rd highest amount raised from 644 riders! Jason also rode extremely competitively, coming in 27th on day 1 and 28th on day 2.
A total of $2.1 Million was raised from the event, all going to the Auckland Cancer Society (one of the top cancer research facilities in the world).
“Raising the money was one thing but taking part in the event was very special, to see first-hand, people who have beaten cancer, people who are fighting cancer and then the many families and friends that have lost someone to cancer” say’s Jason.
Jason has already registered for next year’s ride and encourages anybody to take part in this fantastic event! Because he’s just a little nutz, Jason is also competing in the Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge this weekend!
