Put simply, Lichelle puts the smiles on our customers’ faces. Behind the scenes, she expertly juggles the responsibilities of leading her team, managing orders, and maintaining positive relationships with our customers, be it working from home or in the office.
What do you do at Chemical Solutions and why would your customers call you?
I manage the dedicated Customer Service Department through daily support, guidance and training with a heavy focus on Customer satisfaction. Anyone can contact me when they feel the team have not been able to provide a satisfactory solution or outcome, I want to make sure customers feel they can contact me anytime.
What do you like most about your job?
Building strong relationships with both internal and external customers and recognising the positive impact we have on both our large and smaller customers!
What is a typical day like?
Centered around providing solutions and ways to make our customers experience greater!
What’s a common question you get from customers?
As well as the general Customer Service type questions about products, delivery time frames, and price and availability of stock, we also get lots of new questions that can be quite tricky. Luckily for us, we have a team of industry experts who can assist my team and I on the more difficult or complex questions.
What is one of your favourite memories from the past year?
There have been many great memories, but of late, I have been fortunate to be a part our Business focus to donate product to worthy causes through organisations who help and support our communities. It has been a wonderful experience for everyone involved and at times quite emotional to see some of the great work many Foundations and Charity organisations are generating in this space. I am extremely proud that Chemical Solutions have been able to play a small part.
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
The list is endless, but definitely spending time with my parents, my family & friends. Playing sports & exercising. I love to draw & write, although I haven’t found a lot of time lately to do much of either.
Do you have a hidden talent?
This is always difficult to talk about myself in this way, but I have represented NZ in Touch Rugby and NZ Maori Rugby League. I have won several national titles in both codes and now give back to sport through coaching at national and club level sports.
