Moss, mould & lichen doesn’t mean the end for your roof.
With a few simple steps, you can not only have your roof looking brand new, but also prevent future growth for up to 12 months.
Step 1.
Before applying the roof treatment, ensure the roof is dry. We recommend it being free of rain for at least 6-12 hours before starting.
If you collect rainwater, ensure pipes running to your water tank are disconnected. Do not reconnect them to your water tank until your roof has experienced several good rainfalls.
Step 2.
Create your treatment solution.
For the treatment chemical, we recommend Kemsol Moss-Kill, a great value cleaning agent that controls algae, mould, moss, and lichen.
Follow the instructions on the label to suit your conditions. Most auto dosing units will take the concentrated product and do the mixing for you
Step 3.
Allow the chemicals time to work.
Moss-Kill will provide best results when left for at least 3 hours.
You’ll start to see visible clearing of moss, mould and lichen from your roof in 2 to 4 days.
