Meet Greg, another one of our new Auckland based Account Managers.
Managing everything from orders to emergency troubleshooting, Greg has left plenty of smiles on our customers’ faces.
What do you do at Chemical Solutions?
I am an Account Manager and look after customers from West Auckland, South Auckland, and everywhere in-between. Our customers will contact me for a number of reasons including placing orders, requesting product information and training, solutions to hygiene related issues and for emergencies, if equipment has broken down.
What led you to this career step?
I’ve worked in the chemical supply industry for supermarkets for the past 16 years. As a hygiene specialist, Kemsol’s reputation across a wide range of customers intrigued me. I was looking to grow my knowledge and spread my wings into different markets.
What is a typical day like?
Every day is so exciting and different in every way. From selling products, planning new wins, to customer service back up, to visiting customers, to repairs and to bringing on new customers. Every day has me thinking outside of the box.
What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?
Currently I’m working through my list of customers and introducing myself personally. I enjoy meeting new people and growing my customer base.
What’s one thing that surprised you about working at Chemical Solutions?
The thing that surprised me the most was the people. The staff here are like “THE A TEAM” – we treat each other like a family. Good communication, teaching each other, learning from each other, and supporting one another are all important to everyone.
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
Spending time with family, fishing, windsurfing, gardening, and riding a Can-Am Spyder Roadster.
