Stay sanitised and keep those Winter bugs away.
Winter is here!
While it’s also the season for winter sports, and bundling up indoors, it’s also the season for bugs to spread.
This higher rate of transmission is helped by people being indoors more, with decreased ventilation and a higher density of people sharing confined spaces.
It is critical to put hygiene first and take preventative steps to safeguard both ourselves and others during the colder months.
Let’s talk about two essential tools you should be using to keep the Winter bugs away.
Surface Sanitiser
Surface sanitisers that kill bacteria, viruses and other microbes are essential for preventing transmission of these bugs via surfaces.
Viruses such as COVID-19, influenza virus, rhinovirus, norovirus and more can survive on hard surfaces for hours.
You can easily reduce the risk of this method of transmission by applying an appropriate surface sanitiser.
Sanitisers, such as Virulabs Viruclear, are specially formulated to attack essential components of microbes, which breaks them down and kills them within minutes.

Hand Sanitiser
Having pathogens on surfaces wouldn’t be a problem if there was no way of transferring them from the surface to our face.
Unfortunately, our hands are one of the easiest ways for the pathogens to reach entries into our body, as well a way for bacteria and viruses to spread to other surfaces and people.
Ideally, we would wash our hands with soap and water before every interaction we have with others, and before we touch our face, or eat.
Realistically though, we don’t have easy access to handwashing whenever we need it.
That’s where hand sanitiser comes in.
Using a hand sanitiser containing at least 60% alcohol, such as Kemsol Microban, helps prevent you from illness by killing the germs on your hands.
For maximum effectiveness, ensure you’re practising proper hand sanitiser application: apply enough hand sanitiser to allow you to rub it over all surfaces of your hands, and rub hands together until the sanitiser has dried off.
